A tiger’s carcass outside its cage,

The pelt will be sold on the black market,
The parts will be used by medicine

You say animals can’t suffer

Each day dogs are found
Along the highways ran over by cars
Others discovered in forests
Astray or tied to trees and starved...

Now, either neglect
Or malicious intent,
Torture is torture –
You may dissent
